Presentation of the Xongile Lodge logo

23 juni 2017/in Uncategorized

Last week we received our logo!

The logo is made by Mastejo and we can highly recommend them. They also did the website for Wiebes law firm and they are going to make the Xongile Lodge website as well. They work with a small and very competent team. What we love most about them is the way we were involved in the whole proces. It is not just an order for ‘a logo’ no it is a very personal project. The result represents us in the best way.

The African name Xongile means exceptionally beautiful. It is the name of our favorite leopard who is living a couple of kilometers below Grietjie in the Greater Kruger National Park. We love leopards and we are going to live in an exceptionally beautiful place which made it just logic to go with this name.

The logo contains a warthog, a elephant and a lion. Lions are gorgeous, impressive animals with a very distinguish look. Elephants, ah what can we say about elephants: we love ellies! The very first time you meet an ellie in the wild is a moment you will never ever forget. And finally the warthog. Warthogs are so underappreciated. They are very cute, they are smart and fast, they have super funny and useful tails and they can, with a little luck, defend themselves properly against large predators! It is a trio whole stole our hearts.

The animals and the colors will come back in the rooms we are going to create for our guests.

Imagine:
Explore the bush, but not spend a fortune: choose the Warthog room!
Want to enjoy a little luxery while staying with us: choose the Elephant room!
Want to go all the way and/or celebrate special moments: choose the Lion room!

Well we already see everything in our minds, but we are still waiting to hear something from the seller. Fingers crossed a little while longer.
